Jai Shri Ram, Pass Karo!”? UP Students Pray for 56%, Teachers Suspended

Imagine studying for a crucial pharmacy exam, diligently memorizing complex drug interactions and therapeutic mechanisms. Then, on exam day, struck by a sudden bout of pre-test panic, you scribble a prayer on your answer sheet: “Jai Shri Ram, pass ho jaayein!” (Oh Lord Ram, please let me pass!).

Believe it or not, that might have been enough to get you over the line in a recent academic integrity scandal at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in Uttar Pradesh, India. Academic integrity is a serious issue, but this story is sure to raise a few eyebrows (and maybe a chuckle or two).

What’s the Chai?

Our story revolves around four intrepid pharmacy students who, facing their first-year exams, decided to take a rather unorthodox approach to answering the questions. Apparently, instead of filling their answer sheets with pharmacological knowledge, they opted for divine intervention and a touch of cricket fandom.

Yes, you read that right. These students, in a move that would make even the most superstitious gambler blush, wrote “Jai Shri Ram, pass ho jaayein!” alongside the names of famous Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

RTI to the Rescue

But here’s where it gets interesting. A vigilant former student, suspecting some fishy business in the grading process, filed a Right To Information (RTI) request. For the uninitiated, RTI is a powerful tool in India that allows citizens to access information held by public authorities.

The Smoking Answe… er… Answer Sheet

The RTI request yielded some truly golden nuggets. The answer sheets of the four aforementioned students, identified only by barcodes, revealed their, shall we say, unique approach to exam taking. Despite their theologically charged pleas and tributes to cricketing legends, these students miraculously managed to pass with a respectable 56% score!

Divine Intervention or Something More Mundane?

This revelation sparked outrage, leading to an inquiry into the grading practices of the university. Eight long months later, the inquiry concluded what many suspected: something wasn’t quite right in the pharmacy department. Allegations of teachers turning a blind eye to subpar answers, possibly in exchange for something more valuable, were found to be true.

Facing the Music

The two teachers implicated in the scandal, Dr. Ashutosh Gupta and Dr. Vinay Verma, are likely to be relieved of their duties. While the university awaits official confirmation from the Governor’s office, their academic careers seem to be heading for a strikeout.

The Moral of the Story?

This bizarre incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of academic integrity. While a little divine help or a lucky guess might seem appealing during exams, hard work, dedication, and a genuine understanding of the subject matter are the only true paths to success. So, the next time you’re tempted to take a shortcut, remember the tale of the praying pharmacy students – it might not always end with a passing grade!

One Slap, Two Lives Lost: A Tragedy Fueled by Domestic Violence

Life throws curveballs, some funnier than others. Unfortunately, the story we’re about to share is firmly in the “not-so-funny” category. It highlights the dangers of domestic violence and the importance of clear communication, even during disagreements.

According to reports, Prijith arrived home late and intoxicated, sparking a fight with his wife, Sinseena. The argument escalated, and in a moment of anger, Prijith slapped Sinseena, causing her to lose consciousness. Domestic violence is never the answer, and this story serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences it can have.

Panicked and mistakenly believing he’d killed his wife, Prijith took his own life by hanging himself. The terrible irony is that Sinseena regained consciousness shortly after, only to find her husband lifeless.

This incident leaves behind a heartbroken wife, a young son without a father, and a community grappling with a senseless tragedy. Domestic violence isn’t just physical abuse – it can also be emotional and verbal. It can create a toxic environment that damages relationships and, in extreme cases, leads to devastating consequences.

Here’s where we can take a pause and reflect. Arguments happen in every relationship. But it’s crucial to find healthy ways to communicate, even when emotions run high. Walking away from a heated situation and coming back to it later when everyone has calmed down can prevent things from escalating.

Toilet Trouble at Wedding! Woman Throws Cleaner on Ex-Lover

Imagine planning your dream wedding, the invitations are sent, the cake is ordered, and then… BAM! Your pre-wedding ceremony goes from picture-perfect to poop-awful, literally. This is what recently happened to a groom in Uttar Pradesh, India, thanks to a scorned ex armed with a rather unorthodox weapon – toilet cleaner.

Yes, you read that right. In a scene straight out of a wacky rom-com gone wrong, a 24-year-old woman named Lakshmi crashed a man named Rakesh Bind’s pre-wedding festivities and doused him with toilet cleaner. Apparently, Lakshmi and Rakesh had a past relationship, and she wasn’t too happy about him tying the knot with someone else. Talk about a messy way to show your disapproval!

According to reports, Lakshmi smuggled the toilet cleaner (of all things!) in a plastic bag and snuck into the ceremony. Then, in a fit of fury, she flung the caustic concoction at Rakesh, leaving him with burns and a surely unforgettable pre-wedding memory.

The power of scorned love, folks. It can turn even the most mundane household item into a weapon of, well, well, well… sanitation-related warfare.

Thankfully, Rakesh is receiving treatment at a local hospital, and Lakshmi has been arrested. One can only imagine the bewildered faces of the wedding guests as this bizarre scene unfolded. Let’s hope Rakesh’s actual wedding ceremony goes a little smoother, minus any surprise toilet cleaner attacks.

This story serves as a cautionary tale for both heartbroken exes and grooms-to-be. If you’re feeling hurt or angry about a past relationship, there are definitely more constructive ways to deal with those emotions. And for grooms? Maybe invest in some extra security for your pre-wedding shindigs – you never know who might show up with a grudge and a bottle of toilet cleaner.

Teacher Marries Twice, Leaves Both Wives for Girlfriend

Life can be full of crazy twists, and this story from Gujarat is proof! A 58-year-old school teacher decided he wanted a son SO badly, that he did something a little unusual. He got a second wife, with his first wife’s permission! Yes, you heard that right. This whole thing, however, turned into a hilarious mess that landed him in hot water.

The story goes like this: the teacher, after having two daughters with his first wife, really wanted a son. He convinced his wife (let’s just say she wasn’t thrilled) to let him marry again so they could try for a boy. In the year 2000, he married a second wife, and together they had a son – hooray! But hold on, this story isn’t over yet.

There’s a bit of a problem. Marrying twice in India isn’t exactly allowed. So, this whole plan was built on shaky ground from the start. Fast forward a few years, and the second wife starts to suspect her husband is up to something. Turns out, her gut feeling was right on the money. Our teacher, it seems, decided family life wasn’t for him anymore. He packed his bags and moved in with a new girlfriend!

Can you imagine how the first and second wife felt? Talk about a shocker! They tried to convince him to come back, but it seems he wasn’t interested. Things reportedly got bad, with accusations of violence and threats. Not cool, teacher!

Fed up and angry, the wives decided to take action. They filed a police report against the teacher, his new girlfriend, and even her family! Now, the whole situation is being settled in court, and it’s sparking discussions about polygamy (having multiple wives) and violence at home.

This story might be funny on the surface, but it also shows some serious problems. Polygamy can cause a lot of trouble, not just for the wives involved, but for the children too. Violence at home is never okay, no matter what’s going on.

So, what can we learn from this wild story? Well, maybe don’t make choices about marriage based on old-fashioned ideas about boys and girls. Talking things out is important – if you’re unhappy, tell your spouse (or spouses!) before walking away. And lastly, if you’re facing violence at home, there are people who can help. You don’t have to go through it alone.

The Truth About Hyderabad’s “Weed Milkshake”

Ever heard of a milkshake flavor that sounds totally gross? How about a “weed milkshake”? Believe it or not, police in Hyderabad, India, just busted a weird operation selling these so-called milkshakes. It wasn’t exactly your typical ice cream shop gone rogue, let’s just say that.

This story is full of funny stuff: a mischievous family, mysterious packages hiding illegal drugs, and a crazy plan to turn leftover weed into a (supposedly) mind-altering drink. Get ready, because this tale is as strange as it gets!

From Weed Chocolates to Milkshake Madness

It all began with a family from West Bengal. Inspired by a relative who wasn’t exactly winning any awards for selling weed chocolates and powder, our not-so-smart trio – Manoj Kumar Agarwal and his sons, Murari and Nitish – decided to take things a step further in the illegal weed business.

Here’s where things get interesting. They got their weed, including a weird milkshake powder, hidden in packages that normally hold kumkum (a red powder used in religious ceremonies). Talk about a confusing delivery! Imagine saying, “Honey, did you order strawberry milkshake mix or something for a religious ceremony?” Not exactly the mix-up you’d want in the morning.

The Leftover Weed Caper

The police eventually raided the trio’s store, “Jayasri Traders,” and found a stash of illegal goodies: 4 kg of weed powder and a whopping 160 packets of weed chocolates. But here’s the twist: most of the weed used for these products was leftover “choora.”

Choora is basically like weed dust that collects during transport. It’s sold cheaper for smoking, but apparently, these creative individuals had other plans. Somehow, they convinced a manufacturer in another city (Indore) to turn this choora into a milkshake powder.

The Not-So-Secret Ingredient (Spoiler Alert: It’s Not Magical)

Here’s where the police come in and burst their bubble. They say this milkshake powder is basically a marketing trick. Apparently, it has very little THC, which is the stuff in weed that gets you high. So, not only is selling weed illegal, but this “weed milkshake” sounds like a recipe for disappointment (and maybe a tummy ache).

The Lesson: Don’t Get High on Your Own Supply

This story is a warning for both wannabe weed sellers and milkshake lovers. If you’re looking for a good feeling, stick to safe sources (like, uh, coffee shops where it’s legal) and avoid strange drinks that sound like a bad idea.

The Hyderabad police are working with another agency to find the manufacturer in Indore. In the meantime, this incident reminds us that sometimes, criminals aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs. When it comes to getting high, there are definitely safer and tastier ways to go (and by “tastier,” we definitely don’t mean weed milkshakes).

From “I Do” to “Uh Oh!”: When Your Family Tries to Kidnap You at Your Wedding

Weddings are supposed to be joyous occasions filled with love, laughter, and maybe a few too many free samples at the buffet table. But for one couple in Andhra Pradesh, India, their big day took a shocking turn straight out of a Bollywood action movie. Yes, you read that right, a bride kidnapping attempt!

Imagine this: you’re dressed to the nines, ready to say “I Do,” when suddenly your own family swoops in, throws chili powder like it’s confetti, and tries to drag you away! Well, that’s exactly what happened to a woman named Sneha during her wedding ceremony in East Godavari.

Thankfully, the story doesn’t end there. Here’s the dramatic play-by-play of this attempted bride kidnapping, and yes, there’s even a dash of mystery!

From Love Birds to Nearly Separated by Spice

Sneha and her groom, Battina Venkatanandu, met during their veterinary science studies and fell in love. After a whirlwind romance, they decided to tie the knot. Everything seemed to be going smoothly – they had a beautiful ceremony at a famous temple, and preparations were underway for a second celebration at the groom’s family home.

Here’s where things get spicy (literally). Sneha’s family, for reasons yet unknown, decided they weren’t fans of the match. They stormed the venue, armed not with well wishes, but with red chili powder – a rather unorthodox wedding accessory. In the ensuing chaos, Sneha’s family tried to whisk her away, leaving a trail of bewildered and tearful (thanks to the chili) guests in their wake.

The Cavalry Arrives (and Gets a Bit of Chili Too!)

But hold on, this isn’t the end! The groom’s family, fueled by a mix of adrenaline and the sanctity of their upcoming nuptials, fought back. A heroic friend of the groom even sustained injuries during the scuffle. Thankfully, Sneha’s kidnapping was thwarted, and the spice-wielding relatives were apprehended.

A Cloud of Chili Powder and Unanswered Questions

The police are currently investigating the attempted bride kidnapping, with charges of assault, attempted kidnapping, and even gold theft being pressed against Sneha’s family. As for the reason behind their dramatic disapproval, that remains a mystery. Maybe they weren’t fans of the groom’s taste in wedding cake? Perhaps they had a secret plan to open a high-demand chili powder business and needed Sneha as their mascot? We may never know.

The Takeaway: Love Conquers All (Even Chili Powder)

This bizarre incident serves as a reminder that even weddings, those seemingly picture-perfect celebrations, can take unexpected turns. But in the end, love (and maybe a well-placed fire extinguisher) usually prevails. So, the next time you’re planning your wedding, consider adding “defense against rogue relatives wielding chili powder” to your to-do list, just in case.
